FAQs / Help

How does booking tickets online work?

We are delighted to be able to offer our members the opportunity to book tickets online which offers you a secure and convenient service.

Some of our events are free of charge and for others there is a charge. This will be made clear in the event description. Where there is a charge for tickets, tickets must be paid for at the time with a valid debit/credit card. Where tickets are free, you must still book as places are always limited and by asking you to book in advance we can ensure that we do not go over capacity for the venue. A ticket must always be booked for each person who wishes to attend any event.

We usually offer our members a discounted price compared to non-members. If this is the case, you will be asked to input your six digit Lincolnshire Co-op membership member at the time of booking. This can be found on the bottom left of your Lincolnshire Co-op dividend card. Please be aware that you can only purchase one discounted member ticket for each dividend card number you input.

What happens when I book a ticket online?

On completion of your order, you will be emailed a confirmation which will include your unique Booking Reference Number. Present this confirmation on arrival, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number. On some occasions we may post tickets and additional information to you separately closer to the time of the event. We will advise this on your confirmation email if applicable.

I don't have a printer...

You do not have to print out the 8 digit Booking Reference Number, simply make a note of this and take it with you, coupled with identification.

Can I pay for tickets with my dividend?

Unfortunately it is not possible to pay for event tickets with dividend at the current time.

Do you issue refunds?

Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds online. If you are unable to attend an event which you have booked tickets for, please contact us as soon as possible by telephone on 01522 781 135 and we’ll let you know if we are able to offer a refund.

Can I book tickets on the day?

If there are spaces available you can book on the day, but if we are full, then you cannot.

Can anyone attend Lincolnshire Co-op events?

We organise events exclusively for members of Lincolnshire Co-op as a benefit of memberships, however, we often allow guests/non-members to attend. Some events are for members only and guests/non-members are not allowed. If this is the case, this will be advised on the event description.

Where there is a charge for tickets, member tickets are usually offered at a discounted rate. It’s free to become a member of Lincolnshire Co-op and membership is open to anyone who lives in the area where we trade. If you’d like to attend one of our events, we suggest that you become a member. You can pick up an application in any of our stores or contact us by telephone on 01522 781 135 to find out more.

Will your event be suitable for me to attend?

We arrange a wide variety of different types of events and activities to appeal to all of our members. Some of our events are exclusively for our junior members who are aged under 16 years old and others are aimed at adult members only. If age restrictions apply, this will be advised in the event description.

Is there wheelchair access?

We endeavor wherever possible to ensure that our events are open and accessible to all. We hold a wide variety of different events and activities at a number of different venues each year. If there is limited or no wheelchair access, we will advise in the event description. If you are unsure, please contact us by telephone on 01522 781 135 to double check before you book.

Are refreshments included?

Sometimes refreshments are included and sometime they are not. This depends on the type of event and where it is taking place. We will advise of this in the event description and give more details as applicable.

Is car parking included?

Many of the venues we use include free car parking but unfortunately this isn’t always the case. Unless there is free car parking at the venue, car parking charges are not included with bookings made with us. Where applicable, you must pay car parking charges locally.

Do you provide transport?

Unfortunately we are unable to provide transport to our events. This is because we have over 290,000 members in Lincolnshire and surrounding counties and it isn’t possible to offer pick-ups in all areas.

How can I get in contact with you?

The best way to get in touch with us is to contact our Membership and Community team by telephone on 01522 781 135 or you can email us at membership@lincolnshire.coop – we’re open between 8.30am-5.00pm on weekdays, excluding bank holidays.
